Hope Lash is the Operations Manager for Larry Judd Consulting and essay coach. She handles the day-to-day administrative and billing needs of LJC as well as coordinating personalized college visits for LJC clients and their families that can include talking with department chairs, professors, or advisors about their academic interests. She coaches rising seniors on their essays and additional individual college prompts through the admission process. “I do not write their personal statement but only assist them with presenting their message to its utmost potential in a strong voice that showcases each student’s best qualities to college admissions officers,” she explains.

As a former journalist at the Ann Arbor News as well as long-term staff affiliation with the University of Michigan, Hope has 25-plus years of publishing, marketing, and communication experience. She first met Larry while he was mentoring her son through the college selection process and has been editing essays for 10 years, She enjoys working with students as they discover their voice and tell their personal story. She is an alumnus of the University of Michigan, professional photographer, small business marketing consultant and an active volunteer in the local community plus former leadership roles for numerous youth sports and PTA organizations.
