Less than 1% of all high school athletes are “actively recruited” by leading college coaches. The remaining 99% must “recruit themselves.”
At LJC we work with each student – athlete to implement a plan that guides them through the recruiting process.

It’s never too early to start the recruiting process. We know that making the decision to play college sports is both exciting and overwhelming.
There are a lot of rules and protocols that can get families in trouble before the recruiting process even starts. Only 2% of high school athletes are awarded athletic scholarships a Division I colleges and universities.

Our job is to educate you and your student athlete on what it will take to play a varsity sport at any college level plus the rules and regulations for NCAA (Division I, II, or III), NAIA, or NJCAA.
Our advisors observe your student playing their sport, then create a plan that will ensure your child has the best options available and maintains eligibility with realistic expectations.

Besides our one-on-one mentoring sessions, we assist with planning college visits, offer College Essay and Application Coaching, explain financial requirements, guide student-athletes through the complex college sports recruiting process and can provide expert support in Service Academy and ROTC Preparation.
